A drink blender that eliminates ice chunks by forcing the mixture down into the blade
The Hamilton Beach Rio, or HBB255, is a commercial-quality drink blender with a 1.6-HP peak motor. It's designed for use in professional kitchen environments such as bars, restaurants, diners, cafés, and more.
It features 2 speeds (high and low), a pulse mode, and the options of: a BPA-free, 48-ounce (1.4-litre), break-resistant, co-polyester jar, or a 32-ounce (0.95-litre) stainless steel jar. Both have a square shape, this makes a little extra space for larger ingredients and saves time. The blender also has a feature that continuously forces the mixture down into the stainless steel blades to eliminate all ice chunks.
The lid is triple-sealed and leak-resistant while there is also a protective brow below the jar to prevent spillage on the controls. The switches are sealed for a long-lasting performance and there are non-slip feet.
The HBB255 is NSF Approved and comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
